Purpose:
The first thing to consider when you are thinking about creating a website is the overall purpose. Are you looking to inform people about something, persuade the audience about something or are you trying to sell a particular product. Your website will probably be designed differently depending on that specific purpose. That purpose should remain at the forefront of the thought process as it is being built or updated. Therefore, it is critical to have the purpose defined right up front. Also, don't put anything on your webpage that will not benefit the site or the viewer. You may have great ideas, but they may not drive the viewer to the purpose or achieve your ultimate goals. Although what you put on your website IS ultimately up to you, we believe successful communication between both the client and the designer is a must to achieve a great final result.
Domain Names:
You MUST have a domain name for your website. The domain name is what comes between the "www." and the".com" and is your website's address. You can purchase a domain name from a domain provider (such as GoDaddy), usually for about ten dollars a year. Your domain name is extremely important and, if you can, get one that includes some of the words that you want people to search for. For example, our website domain name is "hawaiiwebsitebuilder." It includes three very important search words people may type into a search engine to find our website: "Hawaii", "Website", and "Builder." The domain name you desire may not be available, but do your best to get one close and we can help you with that as well.

Hosting:
All websites must be hosted by either a company or a person with a server that is on 24/7. We at Hawaii Website Builder generally like to think that we make out clients happy, and that they would choose to host with us. :)
